Manager of Maori Cultural Development

We are looking for a politically savvy manager who has significant experience in the delivery of programmes to communities, including consultation and engagement expertise with local Maori matawaka groups.
The successful candidate will be able to develop and implement Council's Maori strategy and work programme, partnering with Ngati Toa Rangatira in all activities.
- Core Competencies:
- Understanding and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Experience in design, development, and implementation of strategies and programmes within a treaty partnership setting
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills
You will need to demonstrate strong relationship skills, enabling you to work collaboratively across Council and with broader strategic partners.
