**Our Rocket Systems**

Electron is one of the world's most frequently launched rockets. It has provided reliable access to orbit since 2018. The rocket has become a benchmark for innovation in space technology. We have also developed Neutron, an advanced 13-tonne payload class reusable rocket.

**Vehicle Development Team**

The Vehicle Development team designs and improves the structures, mechanisms, and fluid systems of the Electron Vehicle. They collaborate with production, avionics, and propulsion teams to achieve project goals. Responsibilities include managing requirements, CAD, and testing of structural components, pressure vessels, and mechanical parts.

**Your Role**

You will be responsible for designing robust vehicle designs using NX/SolidWorks. You will manufacture prototypes and work with production to refine first articles. You will document design requirements and learnings. You will develop and document test equipment, procedures, and analyses. You will conduct and automate testing, ensuring thorough documentation. You will investigate and resolve anomalies, applying engineering judgment to non-conforming products.

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you will need a degree in aerospace, mechanical, or mechatronic engineering, or equivalent. You will need 5+ years in mechanical systems development/testing with expertise in one mechanical engineering domain. You will need understanding of signal acquisition, measurement, error, and accuracy. You will need strong under pressure and meet tight deadlines. You will need good hands-on engineering skills. You will need excellent teamwork and communication skills. You will need strong analytical and systems-level thinking.
