Launch Vehicle Dynamics Specialist Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Launch Vehicle Dynamics Specialist to join our engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, testing, and application of dynamics systems used in the operation and production of the Electron rocket.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop dynamics systems for launch vehicle operations
  • Implement and test dynamics algorithms and software
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate dynamics systems into the Electron rocket
Requirements
  • Masters or bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Mechatronics or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Experience developing in Python or MATLAB
  • Theoretical and/or practical understanding of rigid and/or flexible body dynamics, particularly 6DOF rocket dynamics
