We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated mental health professionals to join our multi-disciplinary team at Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (iCAMHS) in Rotorua.
About us
iCAMHS provides multi-disciplinary mental health services to those in our community who are experiencing the highest needs. Our team is based in Te Aka Mauri, the Children's Health Hub, housed in the Rotorua Public Library.
**Job Description**
This role involves working with children, adolescents, and their families to provide mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The successful candidate should also be able to connect and build trusting relationships with a wide range of people from the community, whether it be on site, at schools, homes or other settings.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Mental health assessment and therapeutic intervention skills
- Able to work efficiently both independently and with other clinicians in our skilled multi-disciplinary team
- An ability to connect and build a trusting relationship with a wide range of people from the community
- Registration, or eligibility for registration, with a NZ professional body
- A current full clean NZ drivers licence
