We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tour Guide to join our team at Dark Sky Project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing expert knowledge of our astronomy centre.

Our team is comprised of talented individuals who are passionate about sharing their knowledge of the night sky with others. We take great pride in warmly welcoming manuhiri (visitors) to our experiences and manaakitanga (hospitality) is one of the core values that drives the way we do business.

• Deliver guided tours of our astronomy centre, highlighting the science and mythology behind the stars
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every visitor has a memorable experience
• Work closely with our team to develop and deliver new tour content and programs
• Maintain accurate records of tour logistics and customer interactions

As a successful candidate, you will have:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the tourism or hospitality industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and colleagues alike
• Fluency in English, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and clarity
• A full and clean New Zealand driver's licence, with P-Endorsement
• Class 2 driver's licence (or ability to attain one)
