About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Avionics Production Manager to join our team. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the successful production of our Electron rocket, one of the world's most frequently-launched rockets.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and experience leading high-performing teams. They will be responsible for managing the production process, including budget management, recruitment, capacity planning, and production output (quality and schedule).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage three primary teams: Components, Harnesses, and HV Batteries.
  • Develop and implement effective production plans to meet customer demand.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain high-performance production teams that efficiently produce high-quality aerospace components.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Operation Management or Manufacturing Engineering.15+ years' experience in manufacturing, preferably in aerospace or a closely related industry.Experience leading, managing, and growing diverse teams on fast-paced projects.Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally within a geographically dispersed organization.Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
