Lead Civil Infrastructure Engineer

Evo Cycles seeks an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their team in Wellington. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-profile projects across various sectors, including industrial and commercial infrastructure.

Job Description- As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will engage directly with clients to understand their needs and requirements, ensuring their expectations are met.
- You will participate actively in design development and review, dedicating approximately 50% of your time to design-focused tasks.
- You will plan and oversee project lifecycles from initial stages to successful completion and delivery.
- You will manage on-site aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with standards and timelines.
- You will apply advanced geometric analysis techniques to design and optimize infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and water systems.
- You will lead the delivery of high-profile projects both within New Zealand and on international stages.
- You will mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and skill development.
- A degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
- You should have +/- 8 – 15 years' experience in industrial and commercial infrastructure projects, specifically in storm water, water, multi-story buildings, bridges, and roads.
- Solid experience in design and reviewing of designs is essential.
- Proven hands-on site experience and project delivery of complex projects are required.
- Ideal candidates should have a CPENG or be working towards it.
- Ideal candidates should have exposure to a variety of industries and sectors to contribute across the business.
- Preferring candidates should have 2+ years of experience in New Zealand.
