Job Description

As a Primary Health Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing patient-centred care to our enrolled population. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide clinical guidance, assistance, education, and support to the healthcare team
  2. Develop and implement care plans that incorporate tikanga Māori principles
  3. Collaborate with GPs, nursing team, practice pharmacist, and administration team
  4. Contribute to the development and maintenance of our organisational policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand as a Nurse Practitioner/Mātanga Tapuhi
  • Current practicing certificate
  • In-depth knowledge of and passion for primary health care
  • Ability to demonstrate advanced clinical nursing practice
  • A full, clean NZ Driver Licence
