About the Job

The Senior Advisor for Ministerial Services plays a crucial role in supporting the Minister's office and ensuring that official information requests, Ministerial correspondence, and written parliamentary questions are handled efficiently and effectively.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate records of Official Information Act requests, Ministerial correspondence, and written parliamentary questions.
  • Oversee the progress of information requests to ensure they meet timeliness and quality requirements.
  • Provide guidance, support, and quality assurance for staff involved in managing answers to parliamentary questions, Ministerial, and official correspondence.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including the Minister's office, external agencies, and the wider community.
