This role involves assisting with the planning, execution, and management of surveying projects, working alongside dedicated professionals in a growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze field data to produce accurate survey results and reports, collaborating with senior surveyors and engineers to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Operate and maintain surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS, and laser scanners, to ensure accurate data collection.
  • Prepare and review survey documentation, including plans, maps, and diagrams, adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
  • A relevant degree or diploma in Surveying or a related field, combined with 5+ years of NZ based relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of surveying principles and techniques, with proficiency in surveying software and equipment, including Trimble, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, 12D, and Landonline.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy, along with effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and develop professionally, with opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
