This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for land surveying and a desire to work on exciting and diverse projects. Based in the Christchurch office, which consists of a team of approximately 20 staff, you will have immediate access to a work vehicle and the opportunity to travel across the South Island. You will also have the option to work remotely from their Auckland office when in the region.

As a Cadastral Technician Specialist, your key responsibilities will include conducting field surveys using the latest surveying equipment and technology to collect precise data on land, structures, and infrastructure. You will assist in processing and managing survey data, including the use of industry-standard software and tools for data analysis. You will also work closely with planners, engineers, and other team members to provide essential surveying support for a wide range of projects.

The successful candidate will haveBetween 2-5+ years' experience in cadastral surveying either in NZ, AUS or UKProficiency in surveying techniques and equipment, including GPS, total stations, and data collection software.Strong communication abilities to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.Demonstrated track record as a survey technician, with a combination of office & site-based experience.Ability to work in varying weather conditions and challenging terrain.Exceptional analytical skills, adept at problem-solving and decision-making.
