Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Child Development Service. As a member of our team, you will work closely with children and their families to provide developmental assessments, therapy sessions, and devise therapy plans to meet the needs of the child/whanau. This is a fixed term, part-time opportunity for a NZ registered Occupational Therapist who has an interest in working with the paediatric population.

About the Team
You will be part of a dynamic team of experienced Allied Health therapists who work with children and their families who live in the Coastal Otago region. We are a child and whanau focused service and work in both centre and community settings. The centre is based at Dunedin Hospital which is centrally located in Dunedin City.

Key Responsibilities
Your work would consist of developmental assessments, designing and implementing individual therapy sessions, and devising therapy plans for children with developmental delay and complex needs in Outpatients and/or a range of community settings to best meet the needs of the child/whanau. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential. An equity lens is expected within all aspects of your work and a willingness to learn and grow is key.
