About the Role

In this senior accountant role, you will play a crucial part in managing the delivery of accounting work across the service line. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that team members adhere to required standards and that accounting work is completed on time, to standard, and within agreed deadlines. Main Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the implementation of all relevant client accounting work, ensuring effective team workflow.
  2. Manage budgets and timelines on accounting jobs in progress.
  3. Participate in regular accounting planning meetings to discuss project progress and future initiatives.
  4. Work closely with clients to ensure their accounting needs are met in line with agreed requirements.
  5. Lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork within the department.

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of integrity. A background in finance, preferably with ACA/ACCA part-qualified status or equivalent, is highly desirable.
