About the role Do you have a strong media planning background and excellent client management skills?
We are looking for a talented Senior Account Manager to join our team
Reporting directly to a Business Director, you will join a team responsible for overseeing a specific client portfolio.
Depending on the different requirements of each client within the team, the Senior Account Manager may take the lead on some clients and provide support for others.
At OMD we empower individuals to act as trusted consultants to our clients.
You will be able to articulate a powerful vision for our client's business that also clearly identifies the role that OMD plays in delivering this.
You will inspire our internal specialist teams to deliver work that not only works but also pushes the innovation dial to cultivate OMD's reputation as the leading media agency in New Zealand.
Skills and Experience: * Ideally 4+ years experience in media planning and account service * Strong communication skills – can clearly translate client needs to agency specialists, and their output back to the client in a way they will understand * Work closely with the Associate Business Director, Business Director, and wider team to deliver and present integrated media solutions * Articulate a clear rationale for the planning approach taken and how each channel will contribute to delivering the agreed measures of success * Utilise data (client, category, environmental, etc) to develop integrated planning responses that can be tested and refined * Work closely with the specialist business units across other OMD offices to ensure all planning responses are aligned and integrated * Adaptability - While you will be aligned to a core group of clients, you'll also have the opportunity to work across a wider client portfolio as we move to a more agile way of working * Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners to ensure all innovation opportunities are leverage * Be the living and breathing epitome of OMD's culture as expressed by our three core values: 'Constantly Curious', 'Make It Happen', 'Together As One' * Attention to detail * A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills to work closely within the team If this sounds like you, please apply directly via the job ad ASAP.
