Forensic Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Forensic Mental Health Specialist to join our team at the Mason Clinic, Auckland Regional Forensic Psychiatry Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality forensic mental health care to individuals within our secure inpatient acute care and medicolegal assessment services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive forensic mental health assessments and treatment plans for service users
- Work collaboratively with colleagues from various disciplines to ensure seamless delivery of care
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local courts, prisons, and other stakeholders
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A specialist qualification in psychiatry
- Strong understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and their application in healthcare settings
- Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment
