Pipe Welding Specialist

Our team of skilled pipe welders plays a crucial role in delivering projects across the Central North Island. Their responsibilities include joining and repairing tubular products and metallic pipe components and assemblies as part of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Correctly interpret ISO pipe plans
- Welding and aligning pipes together meeting QA/QC standards
- Control or minimise welding distortion
- Use gas cutting, bevelling, and angle grinding tools correctly
- Participate in shutdowns and site work when required
- Co-operate with H&S policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Experience welding pipes meeting trade standards
- Trade certificate or experience as a tradesman, ASME IX Welding Qualification, or ability to pass qualification
- Experience in plant maintenance, construction, or steel erection
- Valid Site Safe certification
- Reliable transportation
- Able to read and interpret drawings
