Job Overview

We're seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager to join our Production team at our Auckland manufacturing site. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role is critical in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service every time they interact with Temperzone.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee repair and maintenance activities to meet business objectives.
  2. Allocate and balance maintenance team resources to minimize downtime and prioritize tasks effectively.
  3. Provide technical support and supervise equipment contractors and suppliers.
  4. Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans for plant equipment and infrastructures.
  5. Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance machine reliability.
  6. Implement training and development plans for the team.
  7. Conduct performance reviews and manage daily operations.
  8. Assist with Epicor Maintenance Module integration and manage projects.
Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  1. A minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance management in a manufacturing environment.
  2. Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CMMS is advantageous.
  4. Extensive experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  5. Ability to create engineering drawings using computer-aided design packages.
  6. Extensive experience in reading and interpreting complex machinery documentation.
  7. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  8. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  9. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
