We seek a skilled Sales Consultant to join our team, focusing on the sale of compact construction equipment to customers within designated regions. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales expertise and excellent relationship-building skills, along with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.

">Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Representation: Represent the company for the sale of equipment to customers within a designated geographic area, promoting Brandt Tractor's products and services.
  2. Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the features and benefits of all equipment sold by the dealership, ensuring effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
  3. Call Cycles: Establish and maintain regular contact with customers and prospects within the assigned territory, fostering strong relationships and driving sales growth.
  4. Market Analysis: Monitor competitive activity and product offerings, providing timely insights to management to inform strategic decisions.
  5. Sales Management: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and preferences, supporting informed sales planning and decision-making.
  6. Sales Process: Adhere to established sales processes and procedures, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  7. Sales Objectives: Achieve sales targets set by Brandt Tractor, contributing to the company's overall market share and revenue growth.
  8. Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of assigned company vehicles and equipment, maintaining a high level of operational efficiency.
  9. Customer Events: Participate in the preparation and execution of customer events, demonstrating the value proposition of Brandt Tractor's products and services.
  10. Equipment Demonstrations: Conduct on-site demonstrations of new equipment, showcasing its capabilities and benefits to customers and prospects.
  11. Financial Acumen: Develop and maintain knowledge of financing options, facilitating customer purchases and ensuring successful transaction outcomes.
  12. Training and Development: Attend relevant sales training events and seminars, enhancing sales skills and staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.
  13. Reporting: Provide regular sales reports to Brandt Tractor management, ensuring transparency and accountability in sales performance.
  14. Used Equipment Valuation: Maintain current knowledge of used equipment values, enabling informed purchasing and trading decisions.
">Requirements
  • Desirable: Previous sales experience in the heavy equipment industry, coupled with a solid understanding of product features and benefits.
  • Essential: Strong customer service skills, combined with the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and prospects.
