Job Description
We are seeking an inclusive teacher to join our junior team (Years 0-2) two days per week and/or our senior team (Years 7-8) two days a week to release leaders in those spaces. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and learning, and contributing to the school's vision and values.
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Shows our School Vision (Striving Together for Success) and Values (Be Respectful, Be an Active Learner, Be a Positive Role-Model) in their daily lives
- Brings the curriculum alive through the use of sport, te reo, the Arts, digital technologies, and student inquiry
- Collaborates with other teachers to personalise the learning for all students
- Has excellent empowerment, interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
- Is a team player who contributes to all aspects of life at Horotiu School
- Is innovative and willing to try new ways of approaching things
Benefits
This is a part-time, fixed-term position with a maximum full-time equivalent (FTE) of 0.8. The start date will be April 28, 2025, and the end date will be December 12, 2025.
