Outlier is seeking highly skilled Materials Experts to join our team of AI model trainers. As a freelance Materials Expert, you will have the opportunity to contribute your expertise and knowledge to the development of AI models.
This is a flexible, remote opportunity that allows you to work at your own pace and schedule. You will be responsible for assessing the factuality and relevance of domain-specific text produced by AI models, as well as crafting and answering questions related to Materials.
About The RoleThis is a mid-senior level position that requires a strong background in Materials and experience working as a Materials professional. You will be responsible for evaluating and ranking domain-specific responses generated by AI models, as well as contributing your expertise to the development of AI models.
Requirements- Bachelor's or higher degree in Materials or a related field.
- Experience working as a Materials professional.
- Ability to write clearly about concepts related to Materials in fluent English.
- $30-$50 per hour USD for core project work, dependent on expertise, skills assessment, location, project need, and other factors.
- Higher rates may be offered to PhDs, while lower rates may apply for non-core work.
