About the Role:

Outlier is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to provide human feedback on AI models. As an AI coach, you will craft compelling questions on mechanical engineering-related topics and assess the writing of other contributors.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD, Master's Degree, or Bachelor's degree with 5 or more years of work experience in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. English language fluency, both written and spoken, is also required.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft and answer questions related to your field of expertise to help train AI models
  • Evaluate and rank responses generated by AI models
  • Use your domain expertise to assess the factuality and relevance of texts produced by AI models

Benefits:

  • Flexible work arrangement: work remotely from any of the following countries - United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, and Argentina
  • Competitive hourly rate: currently $40 to $50 per hour USD (rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project need, and other factors)
