**About the Role:**

Tangram is seeking a talented Principal Planner - Regulatory Expert to join our team. This role will provide technical planning support and review consent recommendations.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting RMA-related processes, including hearings and Environment Court proceedings.
  • Contributing to integrated planning solutions and service improvement projects.
  • Collaborating with the Planning Policy team to ensure alignment between policy and consenting processes.

**Requirements:**

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in planning or a related field.
  • 3+ years' experience as a consents planner in either local government or the private sector (land use and subdivision).
  • Statutory hearing experience and NZPI membership (or eligibility).
