The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and fast-paced Key Account Manager to join our Professional Trade team in New Zealand. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining excellent relationships with key personnel at assigned accounts within the Trade segment. You will also manage the Professional End-User segment of Office & Industry, UVC and Sports accounts in the region.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain long-term partnership with customers, with target to establish Signify as a preferred lighting products and solutions provider.
  • Implement sales strategy with key accounts to drive sales growth and maximize profitability.
  • Execute sales and deliver on AOP sales and margin targets.
  • Hunt for brand new opportunities in Office & Industry, UVC and Sports segments.
What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Technology, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience, with a proven track-record in Key Account Management, solution selling, and value-based selling principles in Office & Industry, UVC and Sports segments.
  • Lighting experience, or understanding of IoT selling eco-system is preferred.
  • Strategic thinker, hungry for sales, with focus on execution and a strong understanding of B2B End-user business in New Zealand.
  • Excellent communication and ability to engage well with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Results-driven, with the ability to pursue commercial opportunities with energy and discipline and to close deals despite challenges.
