The Charlottesville Area Community Foundation (CACF) was established in 1967 as a tax-exempt, nonprofit public charity. Our mission is to improve the quality of life in Charlottesville and surrounding counties by amplifying initiatives that center impacted communities.

Job Summary

The next President & CEO will provide strategic leadership for the overall administration and management of the Foundation. This includes overseeing grantmaking, external partnerships and relations, program activities, and general operations.

  • You must be committed to equity and social justice, possessing financial acumen and leadership skills.
  • You should be able to inspire and motivate others, leading a devoted team of 17 staff members.
  • You will prioritize our community-focus and partnerships, investing in our internal infrastructure.

Benefits and Compensation
Total compensation for this position is anticipated to be between $300,000 and $375,000 on an annual basis. The comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, group disability & life insurance, a 401(k) plan including employer match, a Flexible Spending Account, and an employer-sponsored 529 college/education savings account.
