About the Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead critical water infrastructure projects within a large-scale programme. Your key responsibilities include driving project strategy, risk management, and stakeholder engagement at a senior level.

Key Focus Areas
  • Managing high-value projects through all phases of the lifecycle, ensuring strategic alignment with programme objectives and organisational priorities.
  • Proactive risk mitigation and ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements, particularly under NZS 3910/NZS 3916.
  • Overseeing financial management, contract administration, and governance reporting, maintaining strict adherence to quality assurance, health and safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Significant experience delivering large-scale water infrastructure or civil construction projects.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
  • Adaptable and proactive in identifying and mitigating project risks.
  • Financial acumen with a proven ability to interpret construction drawings, particularly in water infrastructure projects.
  • Experience managing contracts under NZS 3910/NZS 3916, ensuring compliance and effective administration.
