As part of the Water Infrastructure Programme Management Team, you will ensure quality documentation processes, maintain compliance with NZS3910/NZS 3916 contract standards, and support effective project delivery.
This role requires a strong focus on project planning, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.
You'll oversee projects to ensure they meet technical, financial, and regulatory requirements while being delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Additionally, you'll mentor and support Project Coordinators, sharing expertise in project management methodologies and commercial considerations.
We are looking for a candidate with excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders as well as:
Project management experience in civil construction, with a strong understanding of water infrastructure and horizontal build environments.Ability to interpret construction drawings, particularly in water infrastructure projects.Knowledge of NZS3910/NZS 3916 contracts and their application in large-scale infrastructure projects.Proven ability to lead tailored project teams, manage stakeholders, and build consensus through strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.Skilled in risk identification and mitigation to ensure successful project delivery.Experience with best-practice project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.Experience with Aconex and governance reporting is an advantage.Flexibility to travel as required.The midpoint of the salary range is $124,758 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $106,045 - $149,710 per annum.
Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
