Salary:
The salary midpoint for this role is $105,270, and actual salary dependent on your experience.

Benefits:
This role offers four weeks annual leave and a wellness allowance.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have knowledge and experience in tribunal inquiries, treaty settlement relationships, treaty partnerships, or a relevant field. Understanding of Maori relationship dynamics and experience building and maintaining highly effective relationships with whanau, hapu, iwi, and Maori communities and entities within the Ministry's Te Tiriti framework for the health and disability system are also essential. Previous experience working in central government and a thorough understanding of the machinery of Government are required. Proven ability to operate in Te Ao Maori contexts, including understanding of tikanga, kawa, and te reo Maori, is necessary. A tertiary qualification in a health or relevant field or equivalent experience and significant stakeholder, iwi, and Maori relations experience are preferred.
