We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team as a Youth Justice Social Worker. This role will provide a real opportunity to positively influence young people and their families in your community.
The successful candidate will work in partnership with youth, their families, police, and other support services to address the underlying factors that contribute to offending behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
- A passion for working with youth and building relationships to achieve positive outcomes
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A commitment to bicultural practice and a culturally responsive approach
- An understanding of the Oranga Tamariki Act and Youth Justice processes
