Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Casual Registered Nurse. This role is part of the MHAIDS Operations Centre, which covers the Wellington, Kapiti, Porirua, and Hutt Valley areas.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled nurse to work in various inpatient units and community settings, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development and implementation of care plans that meet individual patient needs.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including inpatient units and community facilities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care and support services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and carers to ensure comprehensive support.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that meet individual patient needs.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Be a New Zealand Registered Nurse with current APC.
- Have at least two years' experience in mental health nursing.
- Hold a current Work Visa or have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
