Water Conservation Specialist

This position plays a critical role in supporting Council's community focus and water conservation efforts across Hamilton City. As a Revenue Coordinator, you will be responsible for capturing water consumption data to enable customers to make informed decisions about their water usage.
Main Responsibilities- Receive and process water meter read data from commercial, industrial, and non-residential customers.
- Generate invoices for payment based on water consumption data.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Complete trade waste and third-party invoicing, generating work orders for maintenance delivery teams as needed.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Confident interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Excellent financial data management skills, including a strong analytical ability.
- Very good attention to detail to ensure accurate processing of water meter reads and invoices.
- An intermediate level of computer literacy, specifically with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to quickly learn new systems, identify process improvements, and adapt to change.
- The ability to operate independently while building on the strength of the team.
- Excellent time management to operate within a fast-paced environment.
