Patient Care Coordinator

FirstHealth of the Carolinas, Inc. is a reputable healthcare system serving central North Carolina. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including heart care in the Reid Heart Center, one of the area's only dedicated heart and vascular centers.
Job Responsibilities- We obtain vital signs and general health information for patient charts and prepare patients for examination.
- We assist providers as needed with examinations and procedures.
- We assist in the collection of laboratory specimens and performance of tests on patients as ordered by providers or arrange for patient testing, admissions, and referrals.
- LPN - A graduate of an LPN program with a current license and clinic practice experience is required. Experience with delivering occupational health services is preferred.
- CMA - Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required. Knowledge of practice management systems, office automation skills, and extensive knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding is necessary. Additionally, assisting physicians with patient care, including vital signs and specimen collection, is expected.
- Clinic Tech - A current NC Paramedic or AEMT certification is mandatory.
