We are seeking an experienced Capital Project Engineering Manager to lead and manage Vitaco's capital investment projects, ensuring strategic development and implementation of innovative engineering solutions.

The Role

  • Lead and support all engineering aspects of operational capital investment projects from feasibility through to start-up.
  • Develop and execute long-term strategic capital investment plans aligned with Vitaco's business objectives.
  • Scoping, designing, and costing operational capital investment projects for approval.
  • Manage projects from feasibility to implementation, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and to budget.
  • Oversee installation and commissioning of capital projects while minimizing disruption to operations.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships across the business and externally to facilitate effective project execution.
  • Drive a strong culture of workplace health and safety awareness, ensuring all projects meet regulatory and compliance standards.

You'll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in food and/or supplement manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in capital investment projects.
  • Proven manufacturing design, installation, and commissioning experience.
  • Strong financial and budgeting skills, with experience in contract negotiation and expense management.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to the manufacturing industry.
  • A strong track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and to budget.
