About Madison Recruitment

We are currently looking for a Capital Projects Leader to work on the redevelopment of Auckland public spaces, creating a city for visitors and locals to enjoy.

The role focuses on planning, organising, leading and controlling multi-faceted capital projects mainly involving park and playground development as well as streetscape.

You will work with Priority Location Directors to develop comprehensive business cases and project documentation that clearly identifies time, cost, scope, quality, benefit and risk required for the life of the projects.

You will also manage workstream leads to ensure projects are delivered within agreed business case tolerances.

Requirements:

  • A qualified project manager with PMP, PRINCE2, and/or MSP
  • Minimum 10 years proven experience in delivering multi-faceted development and/or infrastructure projects with both client services and commercial focus
  • Proven experience working across central government and/or local government
  • Track record of producing high-quality business cases and project execution plans
  • Demonstrated experience and track record in Contract Management with a strong focus on relationship and maximising return on investment
  • Proven ability to manage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
