The Transportation Project Director plays a pivotal leadership role in the end-to-end delivery of Group Shared Service initiatives.
This involves building and leading cross-functional project teams, responsible for strategic planning, procurement, communication, engagement, delivery, commissioning, and handover.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leveraging extensive programme delivery experience (15+ years preferably in technology) to drive successful project outcomes
- Fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, media, and the wider Auckland community through effective representation and communication
- Leading large cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives
- Maintaining a deep understanding of local government workings, functions, and statutory requirements
- Developing and implementing strategies to address complex issues and ensure timely project delivery
