**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced cardiac sonographer to join our team at Waikato Hospital. As a cardiac sonographer, you will be responsible for performing and reporting on transthoracic cardiac ultrasound examinations.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of cardiac pathology and be able to identify and report on various conditions. You will also be required to participate in transoesophageal and other echo-supported procedures.

In addition to performing examinations, you will be responsible for completing technical reports and participating in training and development programs to maintain and improve your skills.

**Key Requirements:**

  • Registered as a sonographer with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologist Board (MRTB)
  • Current practicing certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Eligible to work in New Zealand
