Job Description

This role will involve managing one of our cyber security assurance teams that supports a group of MBIE Business Groups. You will be responsible for effectively leading a team of cyber security assurance professionals to get the best security outcomes for the business group and MBIE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of cyber security assurance professionals
  • Ensuring business teams engage with cyber security
  • Overseeing governance of Certification and security assurance activities
  • Providing security assurance and recommendations
  • Tracking security remediations
  • Translating technical security concepts into business-speak

Requirements

  • 10+ Years experience managing in an IT Security or related role
  • Proven ability to build trust and engagement with senior leaders
  • Ability to remain up to date on key technical changes and opportunities
  • Cyber security relevant certification e.g. CISA, CISM, CISSP etc.
