Community Nurse Leader
Our goal is to improve the health and wellbeing of our pēpi and whānau. As a Registered Nurse with Plunket, you will have the opportunity to play a vital role in achieving this goal. This role involves working closely with families to provide holistic care and support, promoting positive physical, mental, and emotional health from an early age.
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate nurse to join our team in Taumarunui. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, having existing connections in the community, and will be part of a well-respected and connected Kaiāwhina duo. Together, you will visit whānau in their homes and host clinics, supporting them in Taumarunui.
This role requires exceptional clinical skills, which will be tested daily as you conduct assessments on children from 4 weeks through to 3 years. Where we connect with clients with multiple needs, there will be several referrals to be written and sent, so a level of computer literacy is required for the role. If you are passionate about child health and wellbeing, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you to join our team and make a real difference.
We believe in caring for our people, to support your wellbeing and ongoing professional growth. In line with our values, we offer various wellbeing schemes, including a generous parental leave scheme, comprehensive orientation programme, and ongoing opportunities for personal and professional development.
