We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Queenstown. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills in geotechnical engineering.

\

As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will undertake geotechnical engineering investigations, working in the field conducting testing, sampling, logging results for reporting, and conducting analysis. You will also schedule projects, communicate with clients, and undertake site observation/inspections of on-site works during construction.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • \
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or equivalent;\
  • 2 years' experience in a similar role;\
  • In-depth knowledge of NZ standards, building codes, statutory requirements, and the use of applicable software;\
  • Basic knowledge of soil mechanics, slope stability, retaining wall, earthworks, and geotechnical foundation engineering;\
  • A high level of attention to detail and excellent planning and problem-solving skills;\
