Job Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing daily living support and assisting individuals to achieve their goals.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily living support, including assistance with personal care and domestic tasks.
  • Assist with managing daily schedules and ensuring timely arrivals at appointments.
  • Facilitate participation in community activities and encourage social interaction.
  • Monitor and report any changes or concerns related to an individual's health or well-being.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Able to work independently and problem-solve in complex situations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to share information clearly.
  • Proficient in using technology to support daily tasks.
  • Physically fit to support individuals in various activities.
  • In possession of a Full NZ driver's licence.
