We are a leading public sector organisation with a strong team of in-house lawyers.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of commercial law areas, including ICT contracts, health contracts, and procurement contracts.

**Key Responsibilities**

You will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on internal investment risk analysis and advising on legal strategy.

As part of our collaborative and inclusive team, you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to achieve results.

**Requirements**

  • Admitted Lawyer in NZ with at least 7 years PQE
  • Experience in either private practice or another in-house legal role in the commercial, corporate or transactional space
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with stakeholders
  • A general understanding of the Public Sector in NZ and how it operates
  • Ability to coach and mentor junior lawyers and other team members
