About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Enterprise Security Solutions Specialist to join their Vulnerability Management team. This role involves onboarding new clients, providing technical escalations, and delivering business-as-usual support. The position is a six-month fixed-term contract with strong potential for transitioning into a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy scanning tools for new customers, ensuring seamless integration.
- Escalate complex security issues to technical specialists, providing timely resolutions.
- Assess vulnerabilities in external and internal assets, recommending strategic remediation.
- Proactively monitor and assess threat exposure, ensuring continuous security.
- Communicate security best practices to customers, fostering a culture of cybersecurity awareness.
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in security engineering.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration.
- Comprehensive understanding of network architecture and protocols.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools, such as Tenable, Qualys, or CrowdStrike.
- Scripting proficiency (Python or PowerShell) for automation and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and advisory skills, with the ability to engage customers on security best practices.
