About The Role

This role is based in Auckland, where you will work in a cross-functional team providing Finance Business Partnering within the Consumer and SME Product and Customer Tribes across Mobile.

Daily Tasks

  • Business Partnering with the Consumer and SME Product and Customer Tribes
  • Responsibility for Consumer Pay Monthly month-end and forecasting down to gross margin and base volume
  • Commercial modelling
  • Provide a high-level overview of performance and insights to drive performance
  • Weekly and monthly performance reporting
  • Business improvement Initiatives & Ideas
  • Drive automation
  • Market reviews with the ability to stand back and understand macro trends in light of economic conditions
  • Understand the wider NZ market, search for opportunities for growth & proactively identify and highlight risks
Your Experience

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Financial experience – month end, reporting and forecasting
  • Previous experience in Business partnering
  • Understanding revenue drivers is essential
  • Analysis experience across large data sets
  • Financial modelling
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Power BI, D365 and building reports in PANDA is recommended
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting is required

Ideally, someone that has an accounting qualification e.g. CA ANZ or equivalent qualification with around 5 years' experience in a similar role.
