Trauma Recovery Support Worker

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
You will also need to be highly culturally competent, with a strong understanding of Te Reo me ōn Tikanga Māori and the ability to apply this knowledge in practice.
A sound understanding of the needs of individuals affected by trauma and abuse is essential, as is the ability to maintain professional boundaries while demonstrating empathy and understanding towards clients.
You will also need to be flexible and resilient, with the ability to cope under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
In addition, you will need to possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
