Job Description

The Fitter Turner role offers a great variety from engineering tasks to on-the-job maintenance and repair work. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and fixing hydraulic issues, making hydraulic hoses, overseeing the repair and assembly of hydraulic rams, and manufacturing hydraulic rams.

This includes precision manual machining and assembly of mechanical components, as well as engineering tasks in a workshop.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experienced manual machinist or Trade Certified Fitter Turner
  • Experience in machining Hydraulic Rams
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and technical drawings
  • Proven experience operating manual machines
  • Ability to problem solve and prioritise to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good numeracy, verbal and written skills in English
