About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Caregiver to join our team at our New Plymouth village. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality personal care and support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Registered Nurse to develop and implement individualised care plans that meet the unique needs of our residents.
- Deliver person-centred care that prioritises the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of our residents.
- Build strong relationships with residents and their families, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
- Contribute to the creation of a positive and supportive work environment that encourages collaboration and teamwork.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to organisational policies and procedures.
What You'll Need:
- Level 4 (Health and Wellbeing) qualification or equivalent experience in aged care.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
