About the Role

The Serious Fraud Office seeks a highly skilled investigator to join our team in Auckland or Wellington. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to the investigation strategy of complex cases involving financial crimes.

In this role, you will plan and execute operational phases of investigations, including interviewing, search warrants, and evidence review using specialized platforms like Relativity and Intella. You will also participate in the production of investigation reports and present findings to senior leadership.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in investigating and prosecuting serious or complex financial crimes
  • Proven record of success in a similar role, with a strong track record of collaboration with other specialists
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for writing reports and presenting findings
  • Familiarity with electronic evidence management systems and platforms
