Palliative Care Services
Auckland City Hospital provides palliative care services that focus on improving the quality of life of patients and their families/whanau. The service is led by experienced clinicians who provide expert advice and support to patients and their families/whanau.
Role Responsibilities
The role involves working as a Senior Nurse in the palliative care service. You will provide specialist advice to support adult inpatients with complex needs related to a life-limiting illness.
Requirements
- Previous experience in either a specialist Palliative Care Service or Oncology is essential.
- Ability to interact effectively with a multi-disciplinary team and service members.
- Excellent supervisory, communication, and problem-solving skills to relate to and work with patients, family members, and staff at all levels.
- NZ Nursing registration with a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
