**Job Description:**

The Associate Charge Nurse Manager (ACNM) plays a critical role in supporting the Charge Nurse Manager to build a high-performing team that upholds the culture, values, mission, and vision of the service. This includes assisting with the management of workflow and workload across the clinical area, providing clinical leadership and oversight for areas delegated, and engaging with all stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.

**Requirements:**

* Strong clinical background in mental health
* Proven leadership skills with experience in managing teams and leading change initiatives
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to navigate complex systems and develop solutions to challenges
* Commitment to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and applying Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches in practice

**Responsibilities:**

* Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
* Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce inequalities
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to evidence-based practice
