As a Support Worker, you will be working in a dynamic environment where you will support clients with complex needs, manage risk, ensure safety, and provide individual care throughout the night. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality services that meet the unique needs of each client.
We are looking for someone who has previous experience working within the disability sector or aged care, preferably in caregiving or providing personal care for adults. A calm nature and confidence to work with challenging behaviours are essential skills for this role. You will also need to be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleepover shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered care to clients with complex needs
- Manage risk and ensure safety in the workplace
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve quality outcomes
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other stakeholders
