Caregiver for Premature Infant

Job Description

Rockmybaby New Zealand is seeking a qualified Homebased Educator to support a family with their 11-month-old premature infant.

The ideal candidate will have experience caring for extremely premature infants and be able to provide flexible, high-quality childcare services from 8am-4pm, 2-3 days a week.

About the Role:

• Support the development of a premature infant through play-based learning and nurturing care\
• Work collaboratively with the family to ensure the child's needs are met\
• Foster a safe and engaging environment for the child to thrive\
• Communicate effectively with the family regarding the child's progress and any concerns\
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting as required\
• Be available for regular meetings with the family to discuss the child's needs and progress\
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood care and education\

Requirements:

• \
• Qualifications in early childhood education or a related field (e.g., ECE, childcare)\
• Experience working with premature infants or young children with special needs\
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team\
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the family and child\
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license\
